FEMSA, a global leader in the beverage and retail sector, faced severe security issues, manual inaccuracies, and inefficiencies in the process of transferring cash from various convenience stores to their destination due to a completely analog process. With operations in more than 10 countries and a vast network of stores, FEMSA, a company associated with Coca-Cola in Latin America, managed complex and large-scale operations.

CHALLENGES AND OBJECTIVES

Manual Mishaps:

 Lack of digitization resulted in inefficient manual captures that wereprone to human error, affecting the accuracy and speed of operations.

Poor Internal Communication:

The disconnection among involved parties caused delays and lack of consistency in the managed information.

Regulatory discrepancies:

The information presented contained errors, which could lead to government sanctions and legal complications.

IMPLEMENTED SOLUTION

PROCETI developed and implemented a web platform integrated with an Android application, using advanced technologies such as Kotlin. Likewise, Angular 15 was used to generate a web platform that connected to the application, which was used by the operators, communicating with the web platform, and this, in turn, with the recipients.

Similarly, C# .NET Core 6 was used for the backend and SQL for the database.

This solution allowed FEMSA to digitally transform its key processes.
